This training includes the A-Z to running a vibrant successful campaign. Campaign strategy, management and planning, selection conventions, running as an independent, anatomy of a campaign, research, numbers clinic and vote management are all key components of this comprehensive training. This will equip participants with a key skill to help run a successful campaign
18th Oct 6:30 – 8pm Making Politics Relevant – ONLINE
Women are running communities, but still are not at the decision-making tables. This session looks at the history of women’s involvement in politics, decision making and relationship with power. We will translate the importance of WHY More Women to the current struggles and challenges which women are facing in Ireland. We will cover converting activism into politics, and explore confidence and leadership with participants, so that they can identify how the work that they do makes them a leader. We will make the link between your community involvement, the relevance of politics and the impact it has on our lives, and discuss how all of society benefits from more women getting involved in politics.
