Orlaith Carmody is a business and executive coach, and a recognised expert consultant, facilitator and strategist. She has delivered coaching, training and workshops for many years, nationally and internationally.
She is the author of the bestselling book, Perform As A Leader, which shares her coaching and teaching over 20 years, and offers a complete toolkit to anyone looking to develop their front line communication skills – pitching, presenting, chairing, negotiating, performing on the media or coaching and leading teams.
Following an early career as a broadcast journalist with RTÉ, Orlaith became a director of a number of SMEs in media and recruitment and served on the board of RTÉ from 2010 to 2015. She currently serves on the Compliance Committee of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, and is voluntary Chair of the Shona Project.
Orlaith is a registered Senior Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC); she holds an MA in Communications from Dublin City University (DCU); she is a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD); and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

She founded leadership consultancy Clear Ink in 2006 and has grown the company’s global reach to include large European organisations, multinational firms and top leaders and teams in business and politics.
An award-winning investigative journalist, broadcaster (Irish Times, Sunday Times, Newstalk) and campaigner she is the founder of Women on Air, a board member of Fáilte Ireland and was an Oireachtas committee nominated member of the board of RTÉ (Irish national broadcaster) from 2016 to 2020.
Pat Montague is an advocacy and strategy consultant working exclusively with the not-for-profit sector including trade union, charities and campaign groups.
His involvement in campaigning began as a student in the late 1970s and he has been engaged in the field professionally since the mid-1980s, setting up his own consultancy nearly 30 years ago and winning many awards for his work around the introduction of the Smoking Ban, the Older & Bolder campaign for equality for older people and many union campaigns too. He is currently leading a campaign for redress for the tens of thousands of people living in apartments that are affected by fire and other defects.
In addition to his work as a campaigning practitioner, Pat also has a strong academic track record in the field. He has a 1st Class Honours Masters in Political Communication from DCU and taught modules on electoral campaigning on that Masters for nearly a decade and still lectures and trains extensively in the field including with Women for Election.

Dermot Ryan is an experienced facilitator and trainer, with qualifications from the Irish Institute of Training and Development and the Irish Management Institute. Dermot is an approved facilitator for the Washington DC based National Democratic Institute, and has delivered training and facilitation solutions to groups in Australia, the USA and Romania, as well as in Ireland.

Since 2012 women across Ireland have participated in our INSPIRE Campaign schools. This was the start or continuation of a journey for many of today’s local councillors, TDs, Senators and MEPs.
