- Do you want to boost your confidence?
- Or work on your resiliance?
- Or maybe, you want to work past the fear of running for election?
Women only make up 25% of the Councillors across Ireland. We need #MoreWomen, like you, to get involved, and be where you belong. At the decision-making table.
Women Belong is a training session designed to provide attendees with encouragement, support and tools to put themselves forward to election or get involved in politics.
Women all over Ireland are actively running vital community projects. We want to see this work reflected in the members of local county councils. That’s why we have been working to increase the number of women in their chamber.
This session will cover the tools to push past the fear and doubts you may have when it comes to getting involved in politics. It will be a safe and encouraging space to ask questions, get advice and share concerns. Yemi, a well-respected trainer in this area will be giving you the tools you might need to take that next step on your journey to a political career.
This Women Belong training event is running free.
