Women for Election is delighted to announce this new two part series designed to support women who are considering running as Independent Candidates in Irish politics. The first of this series will happen on the 2nd of June with a panel of expert politicians who between them have experience running as Independent candidates in Local, National, and European elections.

Join us on the 2nd of June to hear from those who have already been through the journey as they share their tips and tricks.
We are excited to be joined by:
- Councillor Marie Casserly, former Mayor of Sligo.
- Senator Alice-Mary Higgins, leader of the Civil Engagement Group in Seanad Éireann.
- Thoiba Ahmed, Independent candidate for Letterkenny in the 2019 Local Elections.
