UPDATE: We won’t be accepting applications after Monday August 27th. Due to the high number of applications we received over the past few months, we will try to reply to all applicants by August 31st.
Women for Election is proud to open applications for our scholarship programme. Successful applicants will secure a free place on our acclaimed INSPIRE training course. These scholarships are open to any women normally resident in Ireland.
Women For Election will be running four of our flagship INSPIRE training days this year – 2 coming up in June and then two in the Autumn.
- 9th June Dublin
- 23rd June Cork
- 22nd September Dublin
- 20th October Galway
Each training programme will give women expert training in communications and campaign strategy, as well as discussing confidence building and resilience.
Women For Election will provide 25 scholarship places on our Inspire training in 2018. Eligible applicants must be 18 years of age and normally resident in Ireland.
The scholarship programme is possible thanks to the Department of Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government. In our selection process, we will focus on individuals who could not otherwise access our training programmes. In training women to run for election, we want to help them feel empowered and confident about their ability to be a force for change.
Apply today to the email address below outlining why you are applying. Make sure you include examples of any political or activist work, big or small, you have been or are involved in. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Contact us at [email protected] with SCHOLARSHIP in the subject line and mention which training location suits you best – Dublin, Cork, Galway.
