Women for Election is looking for a dynamic, goal focussed CEO to lead our organisation and achieve our mission of increasing the number of women in elected office.
2018 is a critical year for us, with the local and European elections scheduled for May 2019. The role focuses on preparing for the next election cycle by developing and delivering our schedule of events, training programmes, fundraising initiatives and advocacy.
Working closely with the Board, the CEO will build on the success of the 2012-2016 election period, which saw the number of women elected nationally increase from 15% to 22%. She or he will be responsible for the overall management of Women for Election, including implementation of strategy, responsibility for achievement of financial targets, and day-to-day operations. The CEO will also play an active role in supporting the Board to deliver its governance responsibilities.
